7-day money-back guarantee

If you upgrade to a paid plan and decide it's not the right fit within 7 days of your first paid charge on that plan, email hall-aides@hallpassgo.com with the email address on your HallPassGo account and we'll refund the full amount. No reason required, no follow-up survey.

The 7-day clock starts at your first paid charge, not at sign-up — so the free 7-day Premium trial doesn't burn any of it.

After the 7-day window

Beyond 7 days from your first charge, we don't issue pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of the current billing period. You can cancel any time in Account settings → Manage billing; your subscription stays active and fully featured until the end of the current billing period, then drops to Free with no further charges.

Yearly plans

Yearly plans purchased directly through the website qualify for the same 7-day full-refund window. After 7 days, no refund is issued for the unused portion of the year. You can still cancel auto-renewal at any time so the plan ends naturally at the end of the year.

Family plans

The 7-day full-refund policy applies to Family plans the same way as individual plans. Family plans cover up to 4 student profiles in one household under a single billing relationship.

Institution plans

Institution contracts are negotiated individually and refund terms are specified in the agreement. Default policy: pro-rated refund of the unused term, billed on annual contracts. Contact your assigned account contact at hall-aides@hallpassgo.com to start a refund or modification request.

Free trial

The 7-day Premium trial that comes with every new sign-up is genuinely free — no charge, no card required. There's nothing to refund. After the trial, your account drops to Free unless you actively upgrade. If you do upgrade after the trial, the 7-day money-back guarantee starts at that first paid charge.

How to request a refund

  1. Email hall-aides@hallpassgo.com from the email address on your HallPassGo account.
  2. Include the date of the charge and (optionally) a brief note — this helps us improve the product, but isn't required.
  3. We confirm and process the refund within 3 business days.

The refund posts back to the original payment method. It typically appears on your card statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please email us first — almost any refund situation is faster and less hassle if we handle it directly. Initiating a chargeback through your bank instead of contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is resolved.
